US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo held conference

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo held conferences with the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia today, Friday October 23, in separate encounters—endeavoring to aid in cessation of nearly a month of bloodshed in the battle over Nagorno-Karabakh. Azeri Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke with Pompeo for about 40 minutes. Following his departure, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan arrived for his meeting, likewise. Yet another futile endeavor to silence the sin, or a genuine attempt to give rise to righteousness? Only time will tell. Nothing is certain but bloodshed and falsehood, as we've grown to learn.
